When you think of worldwide universities – where is it that first springs to mind? Harvard, Cambridge, Oxford, St Andrews, Yale, Lausanne, University College London, National University of Singapore? It isn’t just chance that the UK ranks highly when thinking of studying for further/higher education.
When choosing to study the UK is a sought-after location for international students. The UK is a fantastic place for travel, with rail, bus and airport links to the rest of the world. There is history a plenty and architecture to inspire. The UK is a truly cosmopolitan place to live and people generally feel very welcome when they come to study.
There are famous people from around the globe that have studied at a UK university. Some politicians, scientists, researchers, astronauts, authors and many more have come out of these amazing institutions. Included amongst them are J M Barrie, author of Peter Pan, who attended Edinburgh University; Albert Einstein attended Oxford University before emigrating to the USA; Alan Turin, who many attribute the invention of the computer, attended Cambridge University; JRR Tolkien, author of The Lord of the Rings, attended Oxford University. To be fair the list is endless. Apparently, one in four world leaders has studied in the UK (although I have no proof or direct reference for this nugget of information!)

With all of the above said then, the UK really is the best place to continue or re-start your education and if you are already a UK citizen, it couldn’t be easier! You’ll get to meet new people (virtually or in person), you’ll experience the diversity, inclusion and equal opportunities generated by these education providers.
