The Undergraduate Level 4/5 Health and Social Care course is a 240-credit programme that prepares students for the last year of an associated Undergraduate degree in the health and social care field. The last year of the Top up Degree can be completed on campus or via distance learning at a UK university.
This course's Level 4 modules and assignments are equivalent to the first year of university study. Modules and assignments at Level 5 are equivalent to the second year of a university degree.
There are six Level 4 modules and assignments (120 credits) and five Level 5 modules and assignments in this course (120 credits). If a student chooses to study just at Level 4, he or she will acquire 120 credits and will be exempt from the first year of a university degree programme.
Each module contains around 40 hours of guided study content, plus an additional 30-50 hours of optional learning material. Recommended exercises, books, and internet resources are included in this set of materials.
