This qualification provides Health and Social Care workers with the essential information required for the safe handling, storing and administration of medication. 
This qualification is taught as part of a 1 day group lesson. 
Course Content: 
You will be taught to understand and make use of: 
The key legal requirements for persons handling or administering medication. 
The different types of medication and how they are administered. 
The key principles of safe administration of medication. 
The actions to be taken after the administration of medication. 
Assessment Structure: 
Internal Assessment: You will be required to demonstrate your understanding by sitting a single multiple choice paper, marked by your tutor.
