Level 2 Award in Understanding County Lines 
Designed for those working with young children, mainly in schools and community groups which are at risk of getting involved with County Lines. This qualification provides those working with young people and vulnerable adults (parents, carers, community members & leaders and teachers & education support staff) with the necessary information to identify those at risk from becoming involved in County Lines activity. It also establishes a grounding in the legal guidelines in place to protect those at risk from County Lines, and the suggested procedures for reacting to suspected cases. 
Duration: This qualification is taught as a 1/2 day group session. 
Course Content: 
You will be taught to: 
Understand the key principles and terminology related to County Lines activity. 
Understand the link between County Lines and the abuse of young people and vulnerable adults. 
Understand how to support an individual exposed to or involved with county lines. 
Assessment Structure: 
Internal Assessment: To demonstrate your understanding of the course you will sit a final multiple choice test, marked by your tutor.
