At our School, science is taught twice a week with topics changing every half term. We aim to provide pupils with a fantastic science education, which helps them to extend their scientific knowledge and understanding, through well planned and creative teaching of the specific disciplines of biology, chemistry and physics. We strive to increase pupil’s understanding of the nature, process and methods of science through different types of enquiry, that help them to answer scientific questions about the world around them.
Teacher assessments are continuous during LIVE TAUGHT lessons, marking of work and assignments and summative tests.
Homework will be given at the end of each half term in the form of a Science Project.
Parents have 24 /7 access to all of their children’s work. Additionally, the school holds 3 parent consultations per year – one each term.
